For every club run there will be a tulip map supplied by the host. Details of how to make one and some examples from recent runs can be found here

The ‘Microsoft Excel’ based Tulip Map template is available for download and use by Yorkshire Ridings Club members, has been developed with both the compiler and user in mind.  The template  shows distances in miles and kilometres so that older, Eunos imports are not left out. The template provides:

  • a Library of ready made Tulip Objects which can be copied and modified to suit most common junction shapes
  • full user instructions, aimed at someone with little ‘Excel’ knowledge and covering most of the compilation and modification operations a user may be required to undertake
  • optional use of colour

The User benefits from consistency of format, larger font and ‘Directions’ text

The excel file contains instructions on how create the Tulips but if it is a bit overwhelming for a new user, there is a step by step guide here that will get you started : Simple Guide to Tulips  & a sample populated map here : Sample Filled Out Tulips

(Files in the above links may only display properly on a Windows PC)

The template file (.xlsx format) will function on any version of Microsoft Office (Excel) 2007 onwards, but should a member use an earlier version, alternative versions can be requested from Keith Lea via email keith.lea24@gmail.com

Keith is willing to offer help and advice to any members using the templates and he can be contacted on 07407868691 or via the email address above.
