DETAILS:

1. MEETING from 10:00 for a 10.30 Departure

2. START Location:

Access from A1237 via Clifton Moor Gate and then take 1st Exit at the next roundabout passed the Tesco Petrol Station

In and around the car park adjacent to Burger King. There is also a Costa nearby & Tesco is open for toilets. (see picture below)

The first leg of the run is 47 miles (1½hrs) so make sure your ‘person tank’ is empty before departure.

  • Briefing circa 10:20 in the Car Park adjacent to Burger King – In the event of rain it will be conducted under the adjacent canopy next to Tescos and the ‘Key Cabin’

3. ROUTE & STOPPING POINTS (106.5 Miles)

  • PART 1 (47 miles 1½ hour 12:00 arrival) – The ‘UP’ bit using minor roads towards Thirsk and then into the North York Moors to Lord Stones Country Park, Carlton Bank, Chop Gate TS9 7JH Camping & Glamping North Yorkshire Moors | Lordstones Country Park 45 minute DRINKS & LOO stop

To make the food provision manageable I have agreed with the Red Lion that we will stick to the Carvery options for Main course plus Desserts, choosing from the list below using the Codes and indicating choice of CreamIce Cream – or Custard with Desserts for D1-D4
